Steps to Launch
Get Answers to FAQs
Are you seeking owner operators or executive owners?
Great question! As we start to establish our emerging franchise brand, we seek owner operators who will be actively involved while hiring field crews to conduct the onsite services. Franchise owners will focus on marketing, business development and logistics, managing the field crews and schedules.
Can I own more than one territory?
Yes. We believe some owners will operate multiple units. We offer discounts on initial franchise fees for owners who commit up front to more than one territory.
How much space do I need for the management office?
Your management office can be home-based but you will need approximately 800 to 1200 square feet for drone maintenance plus truck and trailer parking onsite. Some of our franchise owners will choose to lease a light industrial space for the operation and to secure the truck and trailer overnight. We’ll review the options you are considering for your Complete Spray Tech business to guide you in this decision making process.
How long does it take to launch?
You should be able to launch in 3 to 4 months, depending on how quickly you complete the pre-opening steps and training.
How many employees are needed to operate the office?
Typically between 1 and 4 employees including you and your field crews.
Do I have to know how to fly a drone?
You do not but whoever is flying the drone will need to have the FAA pilot certification to do so. This is a fairly short and easy process should you decide to obtain the credentials.
How many drones are needed to operate the business?
We are happy to talk about this with you, but at least one is needed to get started.
What are the startup costs and what do they include?
Startup funding includes the initial franchise fee, your drone and other estimated costs including 3rd party professional fees, insurance, equipment, vehicles, initial marketing and 3-months of working capital.
How much will the business make in a year?
We will be able to share our Financial Performance Representation, called an Item 19, in our Franchise Disclosure Document which highlights affiliate performance and history. This can be a useful tool to help you evaluate the revenue potential of your individual business.
